Soul Sister Studio

BRAND IDENTITY design

Soul Sister Studio is a pottery studio located in Bay City, Michigan specializing in functional art for everyday people. Becca, owner of the studio, was wanting a rebrand for her company because she felt that her current business and studio location had outgrown her previous brand identity.

Through this logo design, I aimed to portray major characteristics of the brand–simple, therapeutic, sophisticated, and natural. The old studio had a statue of a woman holding a pot, and it was important to Becca that is was somehow included in the new identity. I worked in subtle raw edges as a nod to the texture and rawness of the pottery work.
